The Process

- Backflow Service Is Performed: Water will be shut off during the backflow prevention service. If the device is accessible, you don't even need to be home.
- If a test is required: You will be notified whether the backflow test passed or failed. If the test failed, we will include options on a repair or full replacement plan depending on age, condition and occupancy type. Dr Backflow does everything possible to get a passing test for you by exercising checks, reliefs, tapping in the right spot or flushing as needed. If the backflow test passes, congratulations. Just keep in mind, backflow preventer internals should be replaced about every 5 years.
- Payment/Receipt: Your preferred payment method is submitted. (Cash, Check, Card) You may pay by card if needed by visiting https://backflowlab.com/doctor-backflow-info, click make payment, enter the total and follow the steps.
- Reporting: Your water authority will receive a copy of the backflow test report.
