Experience
Air Force Veteran with extensive experience in plumbing, water distribution, fire suppression systems and backflow prevention. Served as a Water and Fuels Systems Maintenance Airman (AF Plumber), Water Distribution Manager, and Department of Defense Fire and Backflow Program Manager.
Professional qualifications include ROWPU (Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit) Certification, Fire Suppression Maintenance Certification, CPVC Fire Sprinkler Installer Certification, WFSM Contracting Officer Representative, Craftsman Plumber, and Backflow Prevention Certification since 2018.
Holds an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Electrical and Mechanical Technology from the Community College of the Air Force. With specialized plumbing experience dating back to 2015, brings a strong technical background in potable water systems, cross-connection control, fire protection systems, water purification, troubleshooting, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

While serving in the United States Air Force, I became the go-to technician for backflow testing, maintenance, and repairs across the installation. After testing and maintaining countless backflow preventers, my coworkers began calling me "Doctor Backflow." The nickname stuck and eventually became the inspiration behind the name of the business.
Today, Doctor Backflow is built on the same commitment to professionalism, reliability, and protecting our community's drinking water. With years of specialized experience in backflow prevention, testing, maintenance, replacements, and new installations, our mission is simple: provide dependable service and help keep potable water systems safe.
